Local journalist Karen Clem Fritz’s Pulaski County contribution to the Images of America series is an invaluable, accessible source for more of the history of our fair community; in developing this ‘History’ section, we have relied heavily on it. Counties of White and Pulaski, Indiana. Historical and Biographical is another highly informative source on the history of the community.
The well-maintained Wikipedia entry for Medaryville provided much information on that community and is of great value to anyone interested in that town’s history. Much about Monterey comes from Monterey, Indiana 2000: celebrating 151 years of memories.
