Surveyor’s Office/Drainage Board

The County Surveyor is elected for a four-year term and may be re-elected without limit. The primary duties of the surveyor are to survey ditches, to keep records of all section corners throughout the county, and to maintain a record book showing all ditches that are on maintenance. The Surveyor’s Office provides staffing to the Pulaski County Drainage Board, the membership of which comprises the three county commissioners. Please note that Drainage Board meetings have moved from the County Highway garage (noted on the 2025 schedule) to room 200 of the Pulaski County Courthouse, 112 East Main Street, downtown Winamac.
