Veterans Service Office

The County Veterans Service Officer (CVSO) has a compassionate understanding of the problems that confront veterans, widows, widowers, and children. The CVSO knows the extent, the meaning, and the application of laws that have been passed by Congress in the interests of veterans and their dependents, as well as the rules and regulations adopted by the Department of Veterans Affairs to clarify and to implement those laws. The CVSO will apply specialized knowledge in the best way suited to the needs of every individual veteran or beneficiary who comes to the office for assistance.

William Walker is a 10-year Navy veteran, having worked on Airborne Weapons Systems. He also had a 20-year managerial career with General Electric working on the Cruiser and Destroyer AEGIS Combat System Program. He looks forward to using his extensive experience to help the veterans of Pulaski County.
